Former and incumbent heads of Pardon Commission summoned to Prosecutor’s Office

Former and incumbent heads of the Pardon Commission Aleko Elisashvili and Zviad Koridze have been summoned to the Prosecutor’s office for questioning.

The case refers to the governmental members allegedly interfering with the issue of releasing certain prisoners. Elisashvili refers to financial interest and the corruption. He will appear to the Prosecutor’s Office at 11:00 AM.

As for Zviad Koridze he said he was asked to visit the investigative agency yesterday adding he is not in Tbilisi and will connect the Prosecutor’s Office once he arrives in the capital
